What solutions are there today to this problem?
The solution is an intermediate device. Devices are manufacturer specific. Success will likely vary. For many the solution is to get an iPhone. There is a new Bluetooth Standard that has “LE Audio” that shoud make connectivity a lot simpler in the future, but this is still likely over a year away. It likely won’t help existing products.
A solution for Windows machines might be an app called AudioRelay and a wired connection between computer and Android phone. Phone must be Android 10 or higher.
