Compilot 2 setup, working well, mostly

Zebras, I am not quite sure what you want to know:
When I am listening to bluetooth streaming then the HAs need to have a distance of about at most 30cm/12inch. When I want to change program with Compilot then it may work at a distance that does not exceed 60cm/25inch. Program switches via ComPilot 2 (w/o air) even work without the loop attached to Compilot. I have just checked these behaviours.

That’s exactly what I want to know, thank you!

The compilot is an open structure with.penetrations all over it. No attempt has been made to seal it. The first one I had lasted a couple of months. I was able to reclaim it for a while by soaking it with contact cleaner. My next one didnt last long and the good folks at COSTCO gave me a silicon jacket that helped but still has holes and leaks. I live in NC and PR and sweat a lot. I have tried to be very careful, and this last one has lasted over a year but its gone too. Ready for my 4th? One. The phonak has are wonderful, best I have ever had and very moisture resistent. Interestingly, when they break, they still act as a remote control, just blows up the bluetooth streaming function which I really need and use.

I plan to put mine in my Dry & Store once a week.

My fault. I misinterpreted the word “moisture”.
There should be no direct contact between Compilot and skin. For this reason I wear an undershirt below my t-shirt. I can’t say how long this will keep my Compilot away from moisture because I have it as recently as 12 months. I know of the silicon jacket but I don’t use it because then I am not able to charge it in my tv-connector.

I used cuticle scissors to make openings in my silicone sleeve to be able to plug in my Roger receiver etc.
Wear it outside my shirt when shopping and restaurants so i can easily switch programs and volume depending on noise. Found clerks are more patient when they see i have a challenge. .
Tonight it was comfort in echo when we went out to eat. Lunch the other day was better speech in noise

Does anyone else have a problem with wind noise when using their ComPilot? I’m not 100% sure how to solve the problem?

Does the remote side of the ComPilot work whiles wearing the ComPilot?

The only You Tube video I can see shows that you have to discounted the neck loop.

Everything works when worn around your neck.

It’s too bad the newest Audeo M does not utilize the Compilot II. All the connectivity issues would be solved as an option. One reason I won’t consider them.

Yes, I completely agree. If you could use the direct connection when you wanted, but then use the Compilot 2 when you have more complicated connection needs, it would be perfect, and I would buy it today.

Yeah, they missed their opportunity it seems. Even a smaller compact redesign would have been great.
