Hi.
Please bear with me. I am new to this game of chatting in forums, chat rooms.
I am new to wearing to Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids.
I have an Oticon Engage issued by the NHS last year 2024. I can’t say I am impressed with what I have been given to be honest I’ve had nothing else but trouble with the Hearing Aid.
Programming:- I would love to be able program my own hearing aid, I don’t think the Program Software System is available Apple Mac and other Apple iOS Devices.
I have a condition called “Otitis Externa” sometimes it’s a painful condition, but it also leaves one with fluctuating hearing loss.
My local NHS Hospital Audiology and ENT Dept at the moment Don’t currently understand how to deal with my situation.
Champion App
I am constantly having to delete and reload the app.
Re-pair my hearing aid two or three times a week.
Battery life:- Rubbish they don’t last long.
Audiology Dept (NHS Hospital)
I intend to tell my audiologist at my next Hospital Appointment in May 2025 I am really not happy with what I have been provided with and it doesn’t help that I am going to end up having my hearing aid replaced for the fourth time in one year.
I also need to inform the Audiologist that I have been in contact with Oticon (UK) for technical support they’ve said that “I should keep resetting re-pairing my hearing aid 2 or 3 weeks and that that should help resolve your problem with the App”.
Sadly it truly hasn’t helped resolved my issue at all.

Welcome to the forum, sure you can DIY them, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device and code to enter in Oticon Genie2 software and you’ll be good to go, as the software is windows based it’s easier to just buy a cheap windows laptop for programming.
Hi all.
I’m looking to get a pair of Oticon Engage from ebay (I managed to lose my NHS aids and just can’t cover the replacement cost) and programme them.
Any tips on where to start with codes, software, what I need?
Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go, be sure to do some research and read the user guides before starting, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects, @Zebras could help here.
Thanks! OK, I’ll have a look for the user guides.
The prices vary a lot, is this ok?
This is the UK seller that I bought my Noahlink Wireless from.
