Cochlear Nucleus Smart app Update

Has anyone gotten a Nucleus Smart app update recently?
I received an update this morning on my Android Pixel phone.
It was bigger than most app updates, about 4-5 minutes to update with a restart afterwards.

Ever since my phone upgrade to the Pixel 9 Pro I have had random Bluetooth disconnects. Typically when the TV streamer is involved.

I have drop outs regularly and i havent had the upgrade. Ive put it down to the phone as i turn bluetooth off and on again and it reconnects. Often if there are other bluetooth devices, nucleus can drop out. Pain in the neck.

Rick I had one 8 weeks ago. But I’m not having any issues, nor did I have to have a restart.
Things you can try:-
Turn BT on and off.
Delete and reinstall the NS app.
Reboot your phone.

It’s interesting that I never had a disconnect issue before getting this new phone. I honestly think it’s something to do with LE Audio. The phone is trying to do something that Cochlear is not ready for but I am not sure at all, neither was Cochlear.

For me the only 100% way to correct the issue short term was to unpair and forget devices. Then pair and enable audio streaming again. It’s easy and pretty quick.

@Deaf_piper Sheryl, I have done all the things you mentioned but the fix was always short term. Cochlear was involved with this issue as well. WiFi and Bluetooth were reset in the phone too… Everything was short term. Cochlear also asked me to make an appointment with my audiologist to get the processors reset. I didn’t do this because it’s 1.5 hours one way.

Good news is Bluetooth has not disconnected since the update. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:.
