Cochlear BAHA 6 'phone compatibility

Due to having regular ear canal problems my consultant recommended a Cochlear BAHA implant. I had the procedure in March 23 to fit a titanium implant and then received a BAHA 5. It was wonderful, especially being able to control it with my smart 'phone.
However I noticed that the hearing in the opposite ear wasn’t as good and the consultant said there was enough attenuation caused by sound having to connect via the entire rear skull that he wasn’t surprised. He suggested that I have another implant fitted behind the other ear. I accepted this and in early 2024 I had the second procedure.
Since Cochlear had brought out the BAHA 6 I said that I didn’t want a mix of products so it was agreed that I would get 2 BAHA 6 models.
Having received the 2 devices I then downloaded the latest BAHA Smart app.
My 'phone is a Samsung A32S and I noticed on the Cochlear web-site that my 'phone was not listed but an earlier model, the Samsung A30 was.
Despite my 'phone being compatible with the single BAHA 5 and the earlier app I have been unable to pair my BAHA 6s with the new app. If I am at all lucky one of the devices will pair but not the other one.
I now have 2 BAHA 6s which I cannot control including for different environment programs, volume, awareness of battery strength etc.
Cochlear’s response? Change the 'phone! No meaningful discussion on possible causes, suggested options, testing the 'phone compatibility etc.
Has anyone else had the same problems?

What phones are compatible?
Changing phones might be the easiest thing to do.

Should your app control both processors individually and or together? It does on my K2 processors and the Nucleus Smart app using pixel phones.

Devices identifies those Samsung 'phones that have been tested.

It seems to me that they should ensure the majority of 'phones from the top 5 makers should be compatible. Having CIs fitted should not come with the cost penalty of having to buy a 'phone that is compatible with them.

Today’s software standards are applied across most 'phones.

Forgot this in previous response:

The app identifies and pairs with each BAHA individually but shows both 'phones in the app and can be controlled independently so the functionality is correct.

When I got my first CI the Samsung S9 was not compatible. The newer Samsungs were expensive so I checked the compatibility list and learned the older Pixel phones were compatible. Bought a Pixel 3 off eBay cheap. It was a great phone that worked with my K2 and N7 processors. That was about 4-5 years ago. I am still using Pixel phones.
