These are the 2 most current models for the Cochlear company, one off ear and the other traditional over the ear. Both have direct blue tooth streaming. Should my insurance approve the surgery, these are the two I have to choose from.
I believe Sheryl @Deaf_piper has mentioned the Nucleus 8 might be coming soon.
For now, yes, the N7 and K2 are Cochlear’s latest and greatest.
Medel and Advanced Bionics (AB) implant/processor brands are also available.

Rick the 2nd trial on the N8 doesn’t finish until November this year 2022. That’s if they got enough participants willing to do the trial in the US. Then if they have a 3rd trial, who knows when it will be released. As each trial is 6 months long.

Appears to be over and complete.
I just sent Cochlear an email about the CP1110 trial.
See what comes out of it.

I’m aware of the CP1110 trial (my otologist didn’t even know this). Whenever the N8 gets released it would be great if it had a smaller footprint but I think they are just focusing on improvements in processing algorithms. If my surgery gets delayed that will put me closer to N8 release date. Exciting times for hearing loss treatment.

Have you heard anything back from Cochlear about the trial Rick?
No, I have not heard back from Cochlear about the processor testing.
I will sure respond back when they do.
