Changing Lumity Life Receivers

My left Lumity Life is behaving oddly. It is going out. Sometimes I can get to get some power if I wiggle it. Then it will shut off randomly.

These ar Life aids allegedly waterproof but I never tested. I have sliptip silicone molds so it would not work anyway. They are 3 years old and out of warranty. I see that Lumity aids use the same 3-pin receivers as Paradise and Marvel. I have a spare set of 2P (my size) receivers. I have removed from the sliptop. Cleaned it, replaced the wax filter from the cerushield disk - yes those things are a b%#tch. I know I can go 5.0

The question here is that I do not see the pin hole on my aids to get the receivers out like my Marvels. Do these just pull out of the aid? For the alleged waterproofing or is my magnifying glass missing something. I am a little shy on just pulling it out if the receiver 3-pin comes out of the Life aids a different way. I want to see if it is the receiver befor I bring it in for any repair.

If anyone knows. Shearched the net pretty well and the Phonak user guides…

Receiver wires for the Lumity Life model L-RL are held in by friction and and are removed by pulling them out. They do not have a pin.

And they are cheap too (in Ebay)

Hey. Thanks guys. As I said, I have a spare set of brand new 4.0’s that the fitter gave me when these were new. Will give it a gentle tug and fit the new one and see if that is the issue. If not, they can go into the Audi that I have an appointment with to see if I can get my Blue Cross HMO $5k benefit after messing with them and a series of roadblocks next week and see what they say about my severe loss and crappy word recognition. That audiogram was from December at Costco as my local store had the new Sennheisers and these were Lumity Tech and the Costco fit my KS9 Marvels. This is a full clinic and I may have to shell 1-2K but we will see. . Thanks for the response.
