I will change from the Starkey Edge AI 24 to the Phonak Infinio Spheres next week. There are different reasons for the change, but one is connectivity.
My audiologist will fit me with a power dome for the left ear and an open dome for the right ear. She said Phonak recommended the power dome for my hearing loss in the left ear. I know she deals mostly with Starkey hearing aids so hopefully she knows how to fit Phonak for my hearing loss.
I will ask her about custom ear molds or SlimTips so that I can have a better streaming experience and probably better success with the Sphere Mode. Any advice based on my audiogram is much appreciated. I am a newbie since November 2024.

Your HCP will set up your devices in the Phonak’s Target software. So your problem will be her’s. And pretty easy to solve as everything will be made visible in the software she will use for your HA’s.
Wouldn’t worry to much.
Enjoy your new Spheres, most users including myself are very happy with them.
I can imagine. I changed because of the same connectivity issue from the AI Edge 24 to the Sphere P90 in my Samsung Android. But there are other features too which also made me happy.
Me too. Also because of the app, which I prefer, and the taps that allow me to interact with the assistant I choose myself. Starkey decides which one to use on Android.
Don’t worry. These are just silicone domes costing a few cents. Everything will be visible and correctable in the software. And they will fit you correctly as in best practice rules. These domes they will have in different sizes also.
I like my custom moulds, but I also have the closed silicon domes as I am a DIY. And I don’t mind occlusion problems.
All these things are very personal and you can try it out with your HAP. The best solution for you can be the worst case scenario for someone else.
