Would going from a medium power MP receiver to a low power LP receiver be of any advantage?
The user’s audiogram fits nicely within the LP receiver’s fitting range.

No advantage really, MP are a great fit, you’d definitely need to have them recalibrated as they’d sound very “Bright” !
I’d rather they just offer M, P, and UP and be done with it😉
Yes, definite advantage if the user has good low frequency hearing and doesn’t want to encounter ‘floor noise’ with the aid.
I always thought that the MP level would work for everyone, but recently I’ve seen that the LP definitely have their place for anyone with better than 20dB in the low frequencies.
Thank you for your responses.
Would changing to an LP receiver increase battery life?
No,not that you would notice, so is battery consumption an issue for you?
No, battery life not a problem.
Just looking for any benefits to offset the expense of changing to an LP receiver.
