I am on phone calls and apparently touch my head. I bump my hearing aid and it disconnects the call. I’ve got the whole instructions for them and they tell you how to turn on tap control, but not turn off. Called Costco and they told me to download the Phonak app. The app doesn’t recognize my Kirkland 10.0. Any tip appreciated, Thanks
Are you using the Easy Line or MyPhonak app? Have you put your hearing aids into pairing mode? Put them in the charger and take them out again or turn them off and on. They will only stay in pairing mode for a couple of minutes.
The Easy Line app on my iPhone recognizes my KS10 hearing aids. This app allows you to enable or disable tap control although I’ve never tried it. I’ve never had tap control enabled.
Bad advice, only Easyline will work not Phonak.
Only a question for clarification, not advice.
Sorry @raylock1, I meant Costco had given the OP the wrong advice regarding the app to use for his KS10 hearing aids.
I am the poster. The only app that works is Easy Line, but the instructions talks about turning turning tap control on, but not off. Am I missing something. Here’s the instruction sheet for the Kirkland 10.0 https://ks10userportal.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/PH_User_Guide_KS_10.0_105x74_EN-US_V1.01_029-0859-03_preview.pdf
On entering touch control setup in the Easy Line app, I have options for tap control.
1.Pause/resume streaming. 2 Voice assistant. 3 Touch control on/off. Also a slider to adjust sensitivity level. Gentle/normal/firm. You can only select one of those options at any given time, so it should mean by selecting off to left and right aids, you have disabled touch control.
