Can you clean your dry n store?

Is it possible for the dry n store to build up bacteria if closed for a long period of time? Sometimes I go months without using my dry n store, so I was wondering if cleaning is necessary before putting in my hearing aids after some time without using it.

If so, how does one clean a dry n store?

I would like to resume regular use because humidity and sweat (and wax) have increased as a result in my area.

Bump!

Bump bump bump bump bump (because this board requires at least 20 characters)

How does it smell? I just stuck my noise in my Dry and Store Global II and detected only a metallic smell. I suppose it would smell “off” if there were bacteria.

It smells fine! Just a metallic smell over here for me!

My Dry and Store uses a ultraviolet lamp to kill bacteria. I am sure it is just fine unless you got it wet.

Nope. I’m always careful with my hearing aids and related equipment. Never got it wet.

I really think your Dry and Store is fine.
