I’m using my streamer 2 which is connected to my Samsung TV with my Resound Quattro 3D hearing aids. My problem is I have an ear infection which makes wearing my hearing aids uncomfortable. I would like to pair my Streamer 2 to a pair of Bluetooth Headphones until my ears are better. Has anyone done this and if so how do I go about doing this? I’ve tried asking Re-sound support and they are no help.
I expect it’s not possible. TV streamers generally use low latency proprietary connections to transmit to one brand of hearing aids only. Does the TV have Bluetooth? If not, you can buy generic bluetooth transmitters cheaply off Ebay or Alibaba. There will be a noticeable delay between video and audio unless the transmitter and headphones both support a low latency codec such as AptX LL.
