Can I be locked out? Target P30UP

Hi, had REM done yesterday with a new audi.
Tried to save the session today and can’t connect, I’m being told time out despite several on/off/on attempts.
He had Target 9 which I have and used Callisto audiometer and REM.
Does anyone know if this equipment can lock my aids in this way?
@firenzel , and @Volusiano
Thanks.

Sorry, I’m not familiar with Phonak Target software, only Oticon Genie 2. However, I remember that @Zebras is a DIY’er on both Phonak and Oticon, whom I’m looping in here in case he can help you. I remember hearing that certain brand/models may get locked out by NHS, so I don’t know if maybe your new audi uses NHS equipment that may have caused this or not?

Have you made a new client?

@michael1

Yes and tried on separate laptop with Target 8,same result.

I’ve had REM on my P70 with NHS and I’ve being able to connect to my laptop.

I would maybe email the audiologist and say is this normal as your hearing may get worse so you will need the option to reprogrammed if needed.

@kevels55 has had REM on his NHS M70 and being a able to transferred settings to his P90 i believe.

Maybe he will have an idea?

do the lights blink on the Noahlink wireless … you may have to unplug it and the reconnect it.

Yes they do. Tried that- didn’t work.

Hi Ruth,I never had any problems with Naida M70’s being locked… So unfortunately, I am unable to shed any light on @michael1 problem. Cheers Kev :wink:

Maybe check for NL Wireless firmware?

Mine has just been updated in the last few weeks.

No not just by using REM would they be “locked” it’s pretty strange behaviour for sure, so you have been doing your own programming upto that point without issue? but this “time out” message can you screenshot it, does the Noahlink pass the self-test and is detected by target.
Have you tried uninstalling target and reinstall plus those P30 UP are the Naída with the 675 battery right, did you use new batteries?

Thanks all,work in progress!
NL wireless updated, batteries fresh, Target 9 as per audi.
No joy.
Can’t snip the screen because it disappears but within seconds the orange exclamation mark appears which says “timed out” when hovered on.
Set up another client, no joy.
Filled in audiogram and they connected!
Back to original and time out?
I need to do more research.
One point worth mentioning, there is a new permission selection for data logging in Target 9 which shows as the orange warning in the start menu. I thought it was relevant but it wasn’t.

Are you on the Target 9.01 or something like that? Can’t remember exactly but mine has a 1 at the end.

I don’t know if there was a Target 9 first and then 9.01 came out but I’ve been told you can’t program Phonak on older software if they’ve been programmed on newer software.

This might not help you but :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

It’s the latest version, can’t remember just now but I checked his was up to date.
There is something odd going on here Ruth.
I’m at Boots next week so we’ll see what she makes of it.
