I read somewhere that you can call any phone number via Teams to be able to get subtitles/ captions but I can’t figure out how it works and whether it actually cost money.
The other person doesn’t need to use Teams as well.
I have Teams on my iPhone but I’ve never set up meetings, I’ve only ever joined.
Can’t work it out. I don’t think it’s just a UK thing. I also can’t find where I read it now.

There’s an App for it and it’s on the Windows as well. Not sure about iOS.
Yes there’s an iOS/iPad app. It’s good (didn’t know about the phone calls functionality) but the captions aren’t perfect.
Throw the algorithm a curveball (broad Scots accent) and suddenly Teams suggests you may be discussing something well off track. Or even XXX rated. My boss looked askance at my sudden bout of coughing during a meeting until I showed him the screenshots…
