Hi，
I’m Junxian, a PhD student from Loughborough University. I am recruiting deaf and hearing loss individuals to join my research, which aims to make everyday life easier for people with hearing difficulties and help them live more independently.

I am conducting a survey to explore how the inclusive design of technology can be enhanced by understanding the difficulties that deaf and hearing loss people face in their daily lives and the use of hearing assistive technology.

We are looking for:
· Aged 18 years or older
· Living in the UK
· Deaf or have hearing loss in one or both ears

What does the study involve?
· A 20-minute online survey.

Maybe mention “UK” in your post’s title, as this criterion will probably exclude most people here.

Hi Junxian, my stepdaughter lives in Texas and is deaf. Did I read correctly that you are looking for recruits specifically in the UK?

Hi,

Yes, you are right- I’m specifically recruiting participants from the UK for this study. However, if your stepdaughter would be open to having a conversation with me, I’d love to hear about her experiences. I’m really interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the perspectives of deaf community.
