The only differences I found were the tap control and the finer definition of frequency adjustments. The sound improvement was not profound, at least not for my hearing loss. The L90’s are quite expensive and I really can’t justify keeping them so they are going to a new home.
Bought them on eBay about a year ago and the Target DIY setup worked perfectly; meaning the sound when first introducing my L30 programming was very similar to the L30’s. They have been reset to factory defaults.
The L90’s come with a Phonak remote/battery backup charger and dome receivers (the domes/receivers worked when I first tried them out and again earlier). Put my ear molds on them and they worked fine; tried them for a couple of months before deciding to go back to the L30’s. Domes back on them now, see photos. No spare domes or manual included, but here’s a link to the manual on the Phonak website. And domes on Amazon
Have had them in a plastic bag for a couple of months now and just plugged in the charger; it was at 80+%. It fully charged in 30 minutes or so. The aids are good for more than 13 hours, only used them for more than 13 hours a few times and never a problem. Just charged them after sitting those couple of months and they fully charged in about 24 minutes.
