This may be obvious but I don’t know the answer, so here goes:-
After I pair my Phonak Paradise HA’s to my iPhone, do I need to keep them connected in order to receive phone calls? Or will they automatically re-connect when a call comes in? (Provided they are still paired)

You need the BT Classic pairing connected. This is the one that typically startes with R-something… My connection is L-Phonak, but I had mine changed to the left aid. You don’t need the LE connections except for the app.
If it isn’t connected, the call won’t go through.
