I have Resound hearing aids from Costco that are almost five years old. Is there a better quality hearing aid available from Costco now?
Yes. All of them. There would have been at least 2 major releases of each brand since then - Jabra/Phillips and Rexton. Plus the Sennheiser aka Phonak white label at selected Costco stores.
Most brands of hearing aids have been emphasizing making hearing in noise better. If that’s an issue for you, then it’s worth trying one or two of the new hearing aids. Plus if you haven’t had you hearing tested for over a year, it’s time to get retested.
In addition, most of the newer hearing aids are coming with LE Audio installed.
New phones will have to have LE Audio capability by 2026.
I suggest you read up on LE Audio, as I think it’s going to be very helpful for those of us wearing hearing aids.
