Make sure all the cables are included.
It can get complicated in a hurry.
What is the upgrade process to take my Airlink 2 to noahlink wireless equivalent? Is it as simple as plugging it in and running the noahlink upgrader?
Please & thanks!
WH
Pretty much. Occasionally you have to downgrade to convert. There’s a thread about the process. What? Noahlink Wireless for $46, no $44, $50, $45 . Once converted it updates normally.
Yeah, I found that thread but links 404 as it is getting a bit long in the tooth.
WH
What step are you stuck on? Start by checking it’s not already converted as by now it might be.
I haven’t started yet. Thought I’d get instructions before I brick it upgrading the firmware.
WH
Yeah it’s all pretty easy, you don’t need to downgrade, but it’s here.

Just follow the instructions, very easy to follow, I remember just plugging mine into the ReSound SmartFit software and the process was done from there, but that was a long time ago, so not sure if SmartFit still offering it.
I was new to self-programming HAs, but had no trouble tweaking my Phonaks using Target and a Noahlink wireless. In essence, you get to see graphs that set amplification and ceiling levels for each frequency, one graph per ear, for three overall loudness levels. I tweaked those graphs until I maximized speech understanding, listening to speech on a loudspeaker. Max amplification is also limited by feedback. There a zillion additional settings which I am not too concerned about, but perhaps you are willing to experiment with these.
What is great with these new HAs is that they no longer ruthlessly amplify all and any sound, forcing you to wheel volumes up or down.
What I love most about this brand is its excellent Bluetooth compatibility, juggling between those connections, my TV-streamer and ambient sound as needed.
Hi WH, Did you received the Airlink 2 from Raki Computer (USA)?
I received the Airlink. It went to the section of device manager for things with no driver as a noahlink wireless. So no upgrade from Airlink needed. Then the noahlink upgrader wouldn’t see it. Installed the driver. Upgraded in less than a minute. Target 10.1 saw it immediately. I’m happy. In business for cheap!
WH
Brilliant, easy as.
- minimum character requirements.
$43.96. Still shocked at the price.
WH
I did not receive the Airlink2 from this supplier. Lost is mail was the answer. Never returned my money.
Did you manage to get any aids? Just to let you know that Phonak Sky are same spec as adult ones even though targeted at children. Some good offers on Ebay UK at the moment.
Shipping to a different country can be expensive and difficult for some who never have done it.
Sorry to hear you missed out on the Airlink.
Thanks for your description. It really helps.
The most often criticism I see here on the forum is poor speach recognition.
I think the System is Broke.
I wish I could petition to have the Apple speech test and setup program installed in my Phonaks.
I wish that Apple would stop playing around, and invent real hearing aids with an enhanced version and more power.
I would be in The Jordan House down Niagara Falls way. Setting up my hearing aids while music was playing, and 1/2 drunk folks talking loud.
And I’d even do it in absolute quiet and I would hear better than I have for 20 years of hearing aid use.
Is it getting lost in the mail your fault? I’d expect eBay to refund you.
WH
I request to send it to a USA address. Parcel was signed but my friend did not receive it. Call Raki computer and was told it was delivered. I just drop pursuing the matter.
