I am looking for the old version of Bernafon software to program a pair of old hearing aids.

Hi there, what models are you referring to, you will of course need the correct programming device as well for any DIY projects.
I have hipro and cables. I need to program chronos 5 devices.
So, probably 2014 bernafon software.

I programmed my Chronos 9’s with Bernafon Oasis 19 to 21, iirc.
I used a Hi-pro with an USB-to-serial adapter for programming.
I can’t remember whether I used plain 44 programming cables or had to put a miniDIN adapter in between to create a 44a cable. (I think the cables were called CS44 (and CS44a for Phonak .)

Only Phonak/Unitron use the CS44A, others use CS44, if It’s BTE/ric it’s a straight connection .
