I have high end Beltone aids and having issues with the left one only. Over a period of time, the left one stops emitting much sound but the right one is fine. I’ve sent them back to the factory for repair numerous times and it happens all over again. I can’t hear normal amplifies sounds in my left year but I certainly hear loud crunches when I chew and the HA moves with my temple. These were not cheap aids by any stretch. $6k. Anyone else having a similar problem or have found a solution? It’s weird that it’s always the left one. I keep them very clean and dry as well.
Welcome to the forum, yes sounds strange,are you using BTE or RIC HAs? if so swap the receiver or earhook over to confirm that it’s not the receiver (broken wire wax filter etc)or in the case of BTE you have a blockage in the dome or mold (wax filter, moisture etc) something else is at play here, especially if it’s always the same HA on the left side?
Have you had your ear checked for a build up of wax?
What did your audiologist say Beltone fixed?
