This may not be exclusively a Phonak question. Usually I just wear my hearing aids and try to be careful when removing glasses to not let the behind the ear part fall off. But there are some activities where I want them to be absolutely secure. For example when sailing. I tried some grips called AID GRIP by Pehratek. They are shaped like “+” signs. I have two problems with this brand. They say they are reusable, but the stick strongly to the hearing aids, and get gummy so that it is very hard to remove them from the hearing aid. By the time it is removed, it is mostly all stuck together and sticky stuff remains on the hearing aid. The second problem is that they are padded and can not be left on the hearing aid when charging them because they are too thick and don’t fit in the Phonak charger slots. Has anyone used any thin double stick product that can be left on a hearing aid for 2 or 3 days, including during charging, that is not difficult to remove from the hearing aid when ready to replace them, or stop using the grips? I am using the Sphere, so they are big. Thank you.
