I wear phonak naida paradise p30 UP hearing aids. When I listen to the music via the bluetooth connection, I can hear a lot of bass sounds as if I am near to powerful speakers. Is this because these aids can provide much better bass production? I didn’t hear bass sounds this much before with phonak sky V 70 sp hearing aids.
@eyesgreendeaf I believe the Naida Paradise have double speakers (receivers), not sure if this a factor or if the P30 has double speakers or not.
But my understanding from reading this forum, is that Naida Paradise is way better than the Sky V, few notches better than Marvel.
Perhaps, someone on here could correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks. I wonder if I lacked some bass sounds before.
@eyesgreendeaf Are you finding your new HA much better than your previous HA?
Did they improve your speech understanding?
Yes , new hearing aids are better and speech understanding is a little better and it may improve over time since I’ve been only wearing aids for two weeks. Besides, the new soundrecover 2 feature is better with the new hearing aids
@eyesgreendeaf That’s wonderful, My brother got a Naida Paradise, he added a TV connector and now he is happy, he did get a roger on, but he doesn’t seem to want to use it.
Have you tried a TV connector or a roger on?
No. I dont have them and they are very expensive in my country, Turkey.
I can only afford hearing aids . But there are solutions such as Bluetooth transmitters that can be connected to TV at much cheaper prices
But have audio / lip syncing issues.
Most people struggle with them.
Thanks for the information. I’ll take that into account
@eyesgreendeaf Have you tried ebay or facebook maket or even ask Polat Alemdar or his team, I’ve heard he is very helpful?
Polat Alemdar is a fictitious character from a once popular TV series
I have three TVs, 2 x Sony and 1x Samsung, with built-in Bluetooth and they all automatically adjust the audio sync.
My Windows 10 PC automatically adjusts the sync too.
I know that it used to be a problem but a lot of modern equipment automatically corrects the sync now, it has been built into the HDMI standard for a while now.
I’ve gone back to Bluetooth and stopped using TV Connector V2 because of the WiFi issues and the only difference is slightly more battery drain.
I used to run a video quality control firm and I’m very sensitive to sync issues.
Edit: Bluetooth audio sync instructions for a supported Sony TV:
