I have been having terrible auditory fatigue and brain fog. I am trying to figure out if it is from being on thephone at work to much or are my hearing aids need to be adjusted. I am not sure. I just had an audiogram and my hearing loss had not changed. My brain is like rest rest- I am burnout I think. Any suggestions

Could be a lot of things unrelated to your hearing. Sleep apnea for instance? Time to see your doctor maybe.

Hearing fatigue is quite real. Adding the phone as another variable adds to the effort you are making to hear. If your HAs have bluetooth capabilities, your employer can get a phone that allows the calls to connect directly to your HAs which can make it a bit easier. Employers need to provide these kinds of accommodations. What I do at work is just forward all my calls to my cell phone bluetooth directly. I can barely hear using just the phone to my ear. I don’t see your audiogram posted to tell what level of loss you have, but know the struggle is real for your brain.
