Sounds interesting for some, but I don’t see where it can help people like me that has long term hearing loss due to long term exposure to loud sounds. The damage for my loss happened over decades of noise pollution.
@cvkemp No idea, I hope in one way or another we will recover/restore our hearing.
It will not happen in my lifetime.
About 10 yrs ago I had a car accident. I had perfect hearing until that incident. At time of accident, I was coompletely deaf. Hearing returned slowly but never fully. Is this something that could help even though it’s been so long? This sound wonderful and worth the try I think. where can I go for further information please.

This is a trial on animal (pigs) at the moment, not sure when or if they will conduct any human trial.

Thank you for the information. Yes, since I wrote I did find the website and learned a bit more. Appears to me that this should also be something that is looked at closely here in the US. On the website they have places where you can join the study, but, of course, none of the locaitons here in the US. I’ve ent for more information; hopefully I’ll hear something from them soon.
