I just started my trial on Audeo v90. I did two weeks in Oticon alta2 pros and now two weeks in these.
What at is the difference between the 312 and 312t?
did anyone trial Oticon and Phonak? Thoughts?

T has a telecoil. I’ve not had much use for it in any aids that had it.
I trailed the V90 312s and bought the 312Ts - my audiologist hoped they may help with the occasional challenging phone call. There is very little difference in size. Only a mm or two in it. There is interference at home when I try to use the telecoil (probably from my lights) but I may use it more in the future some time. Also may come in handy when traveling. Not a lot of telecoil enabled sites in Australia. The T coil programs can be tailored to purpose eg. Phone or public places.
I have tiny ears… Does the 10 come with the t?
I use the telecoil all the time at home. I hear a bit of a hum in the background but that could be because I’m next to my PC. I telework and have a deskphone headset that activates my telecoil and I also have magnets that I’ve put on my deskset receivers. The sound comes thru my hearing aids directly. I couldn’t live without the telecoil.
No. The V90-10 does not have a t-coil. The V90-312 does not have a t-coil. The V90-312T does and the V90-13 does. But they get bigger as you move along… Personally, for the size difference, I think the 312 is a dumb buy as you might as well get the 312T for that extra mm.
When I got my Audeo V90 a few years ago, I did not get the tcoil version (312t). I was not familiar with HA’s, let alone tcoil. Now I regret that I did not get tcoil, because I attend conferences in some venues where hearing what is being said is nightmare and loops are being installed! When I eventually upgrade, I will definitely get aids with tcoil and I expect to probably use the feature in other places than the above mentioned. In any case I don’t see the advantage of excluding the feature, you never know!
I do not need it for the phone as I use my Bluetooth streamer with my cell. The office phone is an Internet phone and does not have tcoil anyway, so I mostly use my cell phone.
