Is there one or two hearing aids that are using artificial intelligence successfully to help those with moderate to severe hearing loss? Thanks ChrisWiedemer
All modern hearing aids use AI to one extent or another. Some use more advanced machine learning systems and others use even more advanced deep neural networks. Oticon and Starkey are both known for their use of AI. Phonak and Widex also use Ai but differently than the other two
I don’t know if I would call it AI but my Real1 and my More1 aids have DNN, and for me it has made a world of difference in my speech understanding.
Yes, the Real and the More both use AI Deep Neural Networks.
This is worthwhile and it’s from right here on Hearing Tracker–
Excellent article. Many people don’t realize that Whisper was using a DNN and that they were out on the market with their DNN before Oticon brought out the More and made a big deal about its DNN.
True but as a Veteran and getting my aids from the VA i was able to get the More1 aids and not the Whisper. Which may have been a shame
The Own line also uses Deep Neural Networks.
