Artificial Intelligence (AI) and DNN in Hearing Aids

Cool interview with guy who worked on Oticon Opn and More, and now with Whisper…

Very interesting, I imagine all the companies are working along the same path.

In the interview, the achievement of the objective of understanding “soon” in noise is expected, but what does soon mean, 1 year? 5 years ? 10 years?

And will it be possible even for severe/profound losses?

As far as I know Whisper is the only one which is using a separate computing source (the “Brain”)

This is very interesting!
I recently had several experiences in hospital as a heart patient. My hearing aids performed so poorly. I’ve had my audiologist make changes since then. Some of the changes were really helpful.

I read, PHONAK Step-by-step guide titled “Creating a mask program in Phonak Hearing Aids”

IIRC you provided this information. It has been most helpful!

I’m confident that AI will make future hearing aids perform better.
The information you provided helped my hearing aids perform better, now.

Thanks
