Are Rechargeable Hearing Aid Chargers Allowed on Airplane Carry-on?

I have the ReSound Nexia Premium Charger (includes a battery backup) for my ReSound Bi-Cros rechargeable set of HAs. For plane travel, am I allowed to take this charger in my carry-on? Or must I pack it in checked bags?

Thanks.

Lithium-ion batteries are fine in carry-on bags. They’re banned as checked luggage in the US (and elsewhere, IIRC) because of concerns about fires.

Take it on with you. As noted, LI batteries are verboten in checked bags. Cabin crews have bags into which the can drop burning objects in the cabin to contain and smother a fire.
