Am I correct that all three RX hearing aids currently sold by Costco in the USA (Rexton BiCore, Philips Hearlink 9040, Jabra Pro 20) are unlocked and can be adjusted by non-Costco audiologists?
Also, should I want to investigate DIY options at some point in the future, can one find software for each of the three hearing aids to make this possible?
Yes they are all unlocked, any Audiologist or DIY enthusiast can program them, you will however need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects, all pretty straightforward for most.
Thank you for the reply! And yup, Iām aware of the need for a Noahlink if I end up doing any DIY work (which I hope to avoid).
They can be adjusted by other audiologists. Whether you can find one who will do it is another question.
