Are Boots hearing aids the same as Phonak?

Boots classify their hearing aids by Essential to Platinum +. But which classification compares to a particular model ?
Hope that makes sense ?

talking about DAI (DIRECT AUDIO INPUT) BOOTS?

As far as I am aware @lilly0307 Boots Hearing Care is owned by Phonak or Sonova to be precise, they have (I believe) 51% of the shares in Boots Hearing Care, so it is highly unlikely they sell any other brands, I could be wrong though? Over the last 5 or 6 years, I have bought 3 sets of aids from Boots, all are still going strong, and running fine… I have never seen any other brands offered at Boots, all the adverts displayed in my A.uD’s office, only show Phonak hearing aids, so I assume, that’s all they have got? Cheers Kev

I think they try for a modicum of ‘balance’ and carry a current gen Starkey and something from Signia (or the parent stable at least). The rest of the menu, as you say, is dominated by Sonova options (Phonak and Audionova I think at the moment). I remember that at my one interaction with Boots they were keen to prescribe the top Phonak aid over what appeared to be a pretty decent Starkey option (I ended up at Costco ultimately, purely on cost).
