When I have phone connected to radio (Carplay). When a call comes in , the audio for the call plays on the car speakers, and in my HA’s. Very annoying as there is a slight delay between the two. Wondering what setting to look at in the phone and on the radio so this doesn’t happen. What are best settings for “audio handoff” in Apple I-phone? “always” “Never” “Automatic” are the choices.

I have mine set as Call Audi: Always a hearing Devices
Media Audio: Automatic
Calls are handled perfectly, always going to the hearing aids.
Media audio always starts on car speakers.
Problem is, sometimes, once the call is over, the media audio does not switch back to the car speakers and plays into the hearing aids. Can be annoying at times.

Exactly the same problem I’ve been having. Hopefully IOS 17 will get it straightened out.
I have an iPhone and Apple car play as well. I’ve never had any problems with calls in the car. I have my audio handoff turned off. I hope that helps.
