Anyone here actually connected to Jabra Pro 20's using Smart Fit 2.0.132.0? I'm a Newb, need some guidance

All,

Haven’t even received my HA’s yet. Been tested, posted my audiogram. Cookie bite loss.

Big shout out of appreciation to Tenkan, he really acceletated my learning.

Here’s where I’m at, and some questions I have related to the Jabra Pro 20’s.

I have installed and simulated on Smart Fit 2.0. I have a Noahlink Wireless 2 still in the box. HA’s are about a week out at Costco.

Questions to people who have actually connected and\or programmed Jabra Pro 20’s using Smart Fit.

If I have the Smart Fit running, with the Noahlink hooked up via USB, and put the HA’s into bluetooth locate mode, will the Smart Fit automatically find them or do I have to use the Automatically Connect button?

As I’ve read, I need to create 2 profiles to save the original settings and then changes. I can then export the originals to a safe place. The question is, can I export the original settings file without leaving a trail for the audi to see? Not sure of them and theri DIY stance yet.

The previous being said, is there a way to just look around the software and not leave any trace of looking, or does just accessing with Smart Fit make a notation in the HA?

Nothing is changed in the hearing aids until you save the changes to the HA’s … when saving the first original setting this will not change the HA’s settings
Just connecting the aids and looking does not leave any indication on the aids that you have looked.

You must tell the software to connect to the aids … then turn the aids off and back on again, this puts them in paring mode, if they are paired to your phone … turn off bluetooth on the phone .

I would ask the audi what there position is about self adjusting your aids at the initial fitting … many will be ok with people taking a positive attitude to there hearing loss and aid fitting.

Good post. Helpful. Thanks.

I’d gratefully appreciate a link to the latest ReSound smart fit SW for DIY adjustments to my Jabra Enhance Pro 20s from Costco. I’ll grab a noahlink off of the eBay or the Facebook.

Thanks,
