Anybody pair soundconnect with widex smartric 440?

The manual says to repower them but the only repower is dropping them into the charger. The soundconnect buttons stays flashing blue.

Not positive with these aids but usually when you take aids out of the charger, the aids turn on (repower or power cycle) and then are able to pair with accessories for a brief period of time. Then place the aids very near the Sound connect and they should pair. It could be finicky and take a few attempts.

What is your use case for the Sound connect?

Well, as soon as I get my 3-month-old left HA back from Widex repair (failed during hot weather, not a good first omen for a $7k device pair!) I just want to use it on my laptop to listen to anything but mostly music.

Anyone know how sound connect works versus TV Play for that purpose?

Do Widex actually need repair more than other aids or does it just seem that way?

I recently got the smartRIC 440 (eBay).
I’ve found that , to connect them to a new device, I have to turn off the Bluetooth on all devices (iPad , iPhone , etc); then put them in the charger and then create the new connection. Sometimes I had to repeat the process more than once.
I don’t know if this applies to the sound connect but you can try.
Once the connection is created, it doesn’t give me problems
