Anybody tried this? Apparently it customizes settings on one’s Samsung phone.
Bugger. Now I want a Samsung phone. Edit: I’m still not sure if this is a system-wide feature or just works with Samsung’s music player. Earlier versions were definitely just for the in-built player. Later versions (s7,s8) may work with all players and apps but I can’t see any definite confirmation of this on the Web. I’m in need of a new phone too, but the S8 is about five times what I would pay for a mid-range phone from China.
I seem to recall something like this on my S3, and I think it did help a little. I have a Note 5 now, but I’ve gotten to where I use the EasyTek and NEVER hold the phone to my ear anymore.
I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and it works pretty well. I use over the ear headphones so I can turn off but leave my hearing aids in my ear. Appears to be system wide and works with a large variety of applications, good since Samsung’s earlier Milk Music was discontinued.
