Any changes in Hi Pro cable to Lumity?

Hi guys, I just bought a pair of Lumity 90 with 312 battery. The Hi pro cables appear to be different from my old Venture cables. I know I need CS44a (43a?) cables but the ones I bought say I have the wrong programming device when I try to hook up… I have downloaded the Hi Pro drivers 3.0 and it appears “successfully” on my phonak page. Any suggestions on if I need to do something else ( I am on Win 11 with correct updated drivers) I can go back to my Venture aids and it DOES connect with the old cables.

I think these need noahlink wireless.

How do you connect the cables, got a screenshot? but yes CS44A are the Phonak cables,so I’m guessing as you have the 312 disposal battery models you can still plug the cables for the HiPro in through the battery door, interesting.

Phonak still lists the Hi Prpo usb as an acceptable programming device. The new (???) cable ends are different than the older battery 312 socket. Its not clear exactly how you are supposed to attach them correctly as the hearing aid ends ar roughly square (the old cables definitely won’t fit as the socket is round.

Thanks tenken, here is a screenshot of the opening on the removable 312 battery compartment of my Lumity 90. You will note it is different than the top round cable socket on the older battery Phonak. I can find nowhere a description of exactly how you join the cables but I have tried several ways. As I mentioned the whole setup works with the older cables hooked up to my Venture aids.

No unfortunately the older square type is for ITE HAs, not for RIC or BTE, right so you don’t have the round 4pin connecter on the 312 Lumity model, so please do not try to fit those ITE cables into the battery compartment! Yeah Phonak still mention HiPro but obviously not for your models, for NW CIC and ITE and of course your old venture, but not the Lumity you have.

Thanks tenpin, that helps clear up a lot and I will stop trying to figure out how the square ones fit. Do you know what connecting device is best for a removable battery version of the Lumity 90? I know there are not a lot around (I hate the rechargeables) and the programming connection information is even scarcer. Weird that they changed to porting method just for this model.

As mentioned above it’s the Noahlink wireless programming device, you can pick them up from eBay or Amazon.

Does the Noahlink wireless work through bluetooth on a 312 battery hearing aid? Do you leave the battery in? So no cables are needed? Is the software widely available? Thanks for heading me in the right direction.

Yes absolutely, it’s wireless so no cables to connect to the HAs, of course you do need a cable to power the Noahlink wireless to you PC, yes you definitely need to have a battery in so that you connect your HAs to the Noahlink wireless through BLE.
