Well, this is just great. On Monday, right before an extremely important interview for a new job the next day (meaning no appointment could be made with my audiologist, etc. short of showing up on their doorstep at 8:00 a.m. which is out of the question), my Phonak Naida B90 plus CROS unit that I had since 2018 died completely. I thought at first that it was too much ear wax, but after putting on my Oticon Xceed 1 plus CROS, it turned out that this was not the case and that my entire units have died. I guess that makes sense because of how long I have had them for (approximately 7 years).
Thankfully, at least, I do have my Oticons still that are fairly new warranty replacements. I can use them until I can get the new Phonak Infinio non-sphere plus CROS in a few months.
This is not what I had planned on happening so this sucks. But, I do have to say, I’m really happy to be back on Bluetooth streaming for the time being. So there are some fringe benefits.
I really hated using headphones most of the day, too…
