I don’t have Amazon Prime but hope subtitles don’t disappear.

This feature works well on most Amazon movies. It does not interfere with subtitles and another similar feature is on Roku smart TVs where the dialogue can be emphasized in the “sound” mention under the “advance” section of the sound menu.
