Alternative to Philips 9040 for streaming to both Mac M4 and iPhone

My iPhone streams reliably to my Philips 9040s but one or the other or both of the HAs disconnect and reconnect to the Mac frequently. “Frequently” here means on the order of every second. I am currently using a TV connector to stream from the Mac, which requires changing programs on the HA.

Are there alternatives that stream reliably from both iPhones and silicon Macs without a TV connector?

You might have a robust connection using connect clip or edumic (has a 3.5mm audio jack)

The demands aids wouldn’t seamlessly move from one apple device you would need to turn
bluetooth on and off.

Something which could help A LOT is iPhone mirroring, I haven’t try it maybe worth giving a try

Your hearing aids should have MFI Bluetooth (made for iPhone) so you should be able to stream directly without using your TV streamer, as you had to do with some earlier laptops.

Not sure if this applies to HA’s or not… I’m bimodal and I can only connect to one device at a time through Bluetooth. I have iPhone & iPad, if I want to stream from iPad I have to turn off Bluetooth on my iPhone for my iPad to connect correctly and stream properly. Same process when I need to use my iPhone. Hope this might help.

Not all but a lot of the latest can, LE Audio is making this easier then ever.

Yes, I should be able to, but I wasn’t able to because of the flakey connection issue. HOWEVER… I just got a new Mac, a mini M4 Pro, and with that I seem to be able to stream OK, at least for the first hour or so of the experiment.
