there could be a sharing of accessories that help hearing aids. in addition to the micro remotes that they sell. Any experience here with accessories from other alternative brands?

“Accessories” is kind of a broad term. Most hearing aid companies offer a phone app, a remote control and some sort of remote microphone that is also sometimes a streaming accessory. Then there are assorted driers, mini vacuum cleaners, covers (Ear Gear). This is not at all inclusive. Basically one needs to start somewhere and if one comes up with a problem, look to see if there is a product that might help solve it. Looking at your loss I wouldn’t count on any hearing aid solution to be a “fix” for your hearing loss.
