If I make any changes in the automatic program via myphonak app then are these changes permanent or lost after turning off my hearing aids. For example , if I change equalizer settings in the calm situations program then are the changes saved to hearing aids?

You can save the settings to a new program, but it doesn’t affect the auto program. That can only be permanently changed via target.

I’ve saved modified programs with myPhonak and found that my hearing aid batteries need charging quite a bit faster.
My audiologist has modified autosense for me using setting changes that have worked well for me in trial.
My computer hates me. 
I have an iMac and don’t have the courage or skill to use target.
