December 2021) New Starkey LIVIO. Downloaded THRIVE,
(Starkey’s Self-Help software) onto Galaxy Smart phone A325G.
GREAT! Improved audiologist’s settings. Cannot find Treble/Bass adjustment on THRIVE. Can anyone help?
At the bottom of the app right next to the home or little house icon you should see three vertical line with round dots on them touch that and you should find the Equalizer should be what your looking for.
Coulda swore I saw a demo of the app and it has a 4 band EQ for each listening mode?
Thank you for the hints…I have tried the Equalizer and it doesn’t
Treble the voice sound at all… You would think there would be a simple slide to move L or R for Treble/Bass, as there is for Volume.
Most of my adjustables do have a simple wheel that lets one adjust bass/treble, so it’s a common adjustment. I use it all the time, especially for watching TV with a headset.
Note: I said ‘watching’ TV…(laugh)…I really meant ‘listen’ to TV using the Treble/Bass.
I would call Starkey Tech Support they have been helpful for me in the past
Thanks…good idea…I’ll see if I can find their email address.
I don’t like to telephone-talk…(can’t review the conversation).
Another oddity with the THRIVE… Their instructions are minimal. It’s trial and error mostly. Every day I have to redo
the adjustment made the day before. The audiologist set the hearing (ITE) way too loud…which makes outside sounds ear-paining…and the THRIVE volume when set on almost 0 makes listening normal…
I’m so grateful for THRIVE. He also set voice too bass-toned and I need the treble to even that out. I’ll see if I can find email-support and report back.
Well, their Support Site was like their booklet for THRIVE. Minimal at best. Took their Hearing Test and they don’t even advise the ‘patient’ to put on a Headset, and/or isolate L ear from R ear when listening to a specific sound. Their LiveChat was not available, however they did allow one to text the ‘problem’, which I did…“Where is the Treble/Bass control”? Hopefully someone will reply on a business day and I’ll report back. …smile… (I can’t be the only one wanting to know where Treble/Bass is.)
My Jabra’s only have eq controls, low, mid, high. Not sure many aids have bass and treble controls since they are not headphones. And unless you have custom domes any bass will just leak out before you hear it.
