A landline phone which allows direct Bluetooth connection to Phonak Sphere I90's

Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a landline phone which works directly in connecting to my hearing aids. (or if it even exists yet, not “Landline to cell to aids” or “Link2Cell”) Thanks!

Looks like this would only work with Sonova (Phonak) hearing aids and maybe new Signia/Rexton aids that use BT Classic.

You might want to consider using a Yealink SIP-T54W with the FlooGoo FMA120 to directly connect to your hearing aids via the latest LE Audio. The Yealink T54W supports USB wired headsets, so it could treat the FMA120 as a wired headset, allowing the dongle to forward the USB audio to your hearing aids.

I didn’t check the specs of the Phonak Sphere I90. Since it supports both classic and LE audio, you’ll only need the Yealink SIP-T54W, as the phone supports classic Bluetooth.

To best of my knowledge Phonak Infinio Sphere does not currently support LE Audio. It has the necessary hardware but would need a firmware update.

Hi Barry, thanks for this link. Have you tried this phone? Just curious if you have any pros or cons with it. Cheers!

Hi Ranson, thanks for the link. I’m investigating this and the one Barry linked above.Cheers!

I think the one @BarryH shared might be a better choice for personal use. The only concern is that their webpage mentions, “The handset must be close to the user to ensure optimum microphone function.” This seems odd because, with Bluetooth HSP/HFP, the microphone on the hearing aids should be used instead of the one on the handset. However, I’m not familiar with how HSP/HFP is implemented on these hearing aids, and you probably know more about the Phonak Sphere I90 than I do.

Smart function: Bluetooth connection to a hearing aid.

Look forward to more freedom when taking a call: This phone lets you take calls via a direct connection to your hearing aid. Because, thanks to Bluetooth 4.2, Gigaset E720HX cordless handsets enable easy integration of modern hearing aids. This makes taking and making calls even easier – and more convenient, too: You have both hands free and enjoy crystal-clear voice transmission.

The handset must be close to the user to ensure optimum microphone function.

The Gigaset E720HX is compatible with Phonak, Unitron and Hansaton hearing aids and potentially with other brands whose products support Bluetooth with HSP and HFP protocols.

Hi @Intyfan No I have not tried it, I came across while looking for a new landline phone.
