I have had conductive hearing loss for many years, I have had two traditional BTE hearing aids for fifteen years.  I had an unsuccessful stapedectomy about ten years ago. I am now trying bone-conduction devices and can hear again.  I tried AdHear, SoundArc and Ponto.  The AdHear had too much feedback, the headband on the SoundArc seemed to cause me headaches and I just started wearing the Demo Ponto 4 on a hard headband. I would rather avoid surgery so I may keep it as is.
