I’ve had asymmetric hearing loss for 10 years (sudden onset, viral) and am finally doing something about it.
As at 10 Dec 2024, I’m 4 days into a 2wk trial of Signia Pure C&G 7IX CROS.
Previous trials over the last 8wks: 4wks 2x Unitron V3-R, then 4wks 2x Phonak Infinio I90.
Recent word recognition scores (WRS): left ear 32% @ 90dB; right ear nominally 100% @ 60dB.
Ten years ago my WRS for the left ear was 28% @ 105dB & 24% @ 120dB.
