Never had any luck with aids with my severe hearing deficit in the mid to high frequencies ( steel worker damage) Oticon Alta 2’s in drawer and have new audiologist (SS) & some new Oticon Real’s. Playing with Genie 2016.1 software to re-teach myself the programing. SS is not very technicaly literate. Not able to update to a vew version through Oticon. Very interested in learning how and why gain and compression choices are made.
