SSD right ear following brain surgery for meningioma in 2005. Prior that ear had normal hearing. Left ear significant childhood loss cause unknown. HA wearer since 2007 current aid is Oticon More 1 with CROS. Considering CI for left ear as hearing continues to decline but decision more complicated as left ear is the only option for hearing. If CI doesn’t work and residual hearing lost due to CI surgery will be totally deaf.
