I have been using the first Oticon product bone transmission for 7 years and I have never had any problem with it. Now my other hearing side is down by 35% and I am presently trying in the ear Phonak Audeo P90 R. I am having a hard time deciding if this is for me as I do not really see a significant improvement in my understanding of words in conversation. Also I keep hearing this very annoying sound specially with water from the tap or when I am peeing in a toilet standing up.
However, I have only kudos for the quality of sound through the Bluetooth functions. I can watch tv and understanding most of the dialogues and listen to my music in peace and it sounds good to me. I can even understand song lyrics so much more.
Honestly I have doubts about the technical quality of help in my trial. I am told that I am at the end of the trial period in 1 month and I have to decide if I want to keep them or not! At this point I am not ready to spent $4,000 can out of pocket and yet I feel let down in this trial…
