I’m a 35 yr old female, no hearing loss recognized until I was an adult in nursing school. I could not hear properly taking blood pressure in the classroom setting.

Results show a sensorineural loss that is asymmetrical and shows a sawtooth configuration. Word recognition and Quick Sin scores were much worse than expected.

Absent acoustic reflexes were not expected. DPOAEs were better than expected due to degree of hearing loss noted.

Right Ear: Present from 750-8000 Hz with exception of 8000 Hz. Reduced responses were observed from 2378-2828 Hz.
Left Ear: Present from 750-8000 Hz with exception of 6727-8000 Hz.
