Born in Norway 1958. Retired musician/music teacher with moderate hearing loss. My reason for contacting an audiologist was that I no longer could hear birdsong with my right ear. Also the joy of listening to music was reduced.

I got my first HAs, Resound Linx Quattro December 3, 2019. Although they are a fantastic aid, I have a million questions about the use and how to get the most out of them. This seems to be a great place for answers! Edit June 2025: Still using the same Resound HAs. They have been replaced 3 times because of distorted sound in right ear. Will probably go for something else next time.
